The Board of Directors of Al Ahly Club, chaired by Captain Mahmoud El-Khatib, assigned one of the board members to head the delegation of the first football team heading to Spain next Thursday.
Al Ahly Club team is preparing to hold an external preparation camp taking place from August 6 to 20, with board member Tarek Kandil heading the team’s delegation.
Al Ahly is scheduled to face Barcelona of Spain on August 19 in Spain in the friendly Joan Gamper Cup, which the Spanish club plays every year.

Al Ahly had played two friendly matches against Cairo’s Al Nasr and La Viena, winning the first 5-1 and the second 7-1.
Al Ahly Club announced it will play two friendly matches next Wednesday against Petrol Asyut and Delphi, a Second Division club.
Both friendlies will be held at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in Gezira as a final rehearsal before traveling to Spain to face Barcelona.
