Emile Heskey, the former English football legend, directed a warning to Liverpool's management and Andoni Iraola about the necessity of ideally compensating for Mohamed Salah's departure next season 2026/2027.
The Egyptian international star left Liverpool's ranks after the end of last season following a career full and laden with important and historic titles for the Reds.
Until now, Salah has not decided his next destination, but all indications suggest he is close to joining the Turkish club Beşiktaş.
Heskey said, in statements reported by the "Liverpool Echo" website: "The style of play is what everyone has pointed to, isn't it? I think we were very spoiled with Jürgen Klopp".
He continued: "But we have to remember once again that it took Jürgen a few years to get the players accustomed to what he really wanted, and the other part is to get the players he wanted as well".

He added: "I think one of the most important things that particularly angered the fans is the slow play; they were used to loud, exciting football full of enthusiasm where the players completely overwhelmed the teams".
He continued: "You always want to make a good start as a coach just to feel comfortable if for no other reason and to make sure you are on the right track and that things will be fine".
Regarding Mohamed Salah's replacement, he continued: "Liverpool are seeking to find a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who ended his title-laden career at Anfield at the end of last season".
He went on: "The difficult part in determining who can replace Mohamed Salah is that I don't think anyone can replace him".
He stressed: "The only player we might want to sign is Kvaratskhelia from Paris Saint-Germain, but signing him will not be easy".
He concluded: "I think when you look at talents and legends like Salah, you have to move on and go to something different; you will never find another player like Mohamed Salah who achieves the numbers he achieved, ever".
