Media reports revealed today about political intervention by Turkey to work on completing Mohamed Salah's transfer to Besiktas club during the current summer transfer window.

Mohamed Salah is linked with a transfer to Besiktas club during the current summer mercato period, as the Egyptian international is a free agent following his departure from Liverpool and the end of his contract with the Reds.

Turkish journalist "Dogan Gundogdu" stated that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan personally wants to complete Mohamed Salah's joining to Besiktas club this summer.

He added that Erdogan requested information about Mohamed Salah from Besiktas president Serdal Adali, describing him as an important promotion for Turkey.

Gundogdu confirmed that Adali is pushing hard to complete the signing of Mohamed Salah, pending the end of the saga and reaching an agreement with the player's agent Rami Abbas.

Mohamed Salah agreed with Besiktas on a one-year contract with the option to renew for another year, in addition to a salary of 10 million euros per year plus 2 million euros in bonuses.
