The Spaniard Pablo Franco, the former technical director of Maghreb Fes Club, praised the capabilities of Sofiane Benjdida, who recently joined the ranks of Al Ahly Club, confirming that he possesses distinctive scoring abilities.
The Spanish coach had previously worked with Benjdida at Maghreb Fes, where he witnessed the brilliance of the Moroccan striker and his success in regaining his form after an unsuccessful period during his professional experience in Europe.
Benjdida participated with Franco during the past season in 31 matches and scored 20 goals in all competitions and provided two assists, and managed to lead the team to win the Moroccan League title after a long absence.

Pablo Franco said in exclusive statements to Botola: "Benjdida is a striker with great scoring abilities, and he is also a wonderful person on the human level".
He added: "We succeeded in making the best possible use of his abilities, especially since he came to us after difficult experiences in his European journey, where he did not participate much and was unable to score goals".
The former Maghreb Fes coach continued: "We quickly discovered his abilities and understood his strengths, and he was extremely committed and worked hard, and delivered an amazing season, during which he scored 20 wonderful goals, and was a key element in our winning the Moroccan League title after an absence of 41 years".
Franco finally commented on Benjdida's transfer to Al Ahly: "Any team that signs him will be lucky to have him in its ranks".
