Moroccan third in a row.. Jordan national team announces its new coach

The Jordan Football Association announced the new technical director to lead Al-Nashami during the coming period, to succeed Moroccan Jamal Salami who departed after the end of the World Cup.

Jordan's national team participated for the first time in its history in the World Cup tournament held in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

Jordan's national team was in a strong group at the World Cup that includes Argentina, Austria and Algeria.

Jordan's national team lost in the three matches against Argentina with a score of 3-1, then a defeat from Algeria 2-1 and against Austria 3-1.

According to the official website of the Jordan Football Association, Moroccan Badou Zaki was appointed as coach of the team to lead Al-Nashami in the upcoming entitlements, foremost among which are the Asian Cup finals to be held in Saudi Arabia at the beginning of 2027.

The announcement of contracting with Moroccan coach Badou Zaki comes, with a contract extending for one year, after the approval of the Board of Directors.

It is noted that Badou Zaki is the third Moroccan coach in a row to assume the technical leadership of the Jordan national team, after Hussein Amouta and Jamal Salami.
