Aktai Abdullah, the striker of Al Ahly's first football team who recently joined, expressed his happiness at joining the Red Castle.
Aktai said, in a video published by the official page of Al Ahly Club: "Praise be to God, I don't know how to describe my feeling after joining Al Ahly Club, this is a big step and I was surprised when Dr. Issam contacted me, and I told him (of course I agree without any thinking) and I had several offers but I preferred Al Ahly".
He added: "Even at home, my father, mother, and the whole family are all Ahly fans, and praise be to God for my joining and they are certainly happy with this moment, so I thank them, because they stood by me a lot until that moment".
He continued: "I had no connections in Al Ahly Club but my goal was to reach it and praise be to God, the Lord honored me, and I worked hard to reach that position and it is difficult for anyone to reach it, Al Ahly is a big club, and its fans are big, and it is an honor for any player to wear the Al Ahly jersey".

He continued: "There will be pressure in the matches but I know that I am coming to Al Ahly and it is a big club, and one must be up to the responsibility and God willing I can make Al Ahly fans and everyone happy".
He pointed out: "Al Ahly competes for all championships, and we must be ready to enter any championship, and God willing we must win, because playing for Al Ahly is not easy under the pressure".
He added: "There is talk that Al Ahly is full of stars but this season will be different and (we will break the world) and I can present a good level".
He concluded: "God willing I will add championships to the club and the choices are in the hands of the technical staff, and I am reassured, because when I was in the national team, El-Shennawy and Trezeguet embraced me, and God willing I will be the top scorer of the league in the new season".
