Al-Ahly club's negotiations stumbled with one of its new targeted deals during the current summer transfer period, after failing to reach an agreement.
Al-Ahly had succeeded in concluding two new deals during the current summer mercato, by signing the Enppi duo Aktai Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud.

A source from Al-Ahly told Botolaat: "Negotiations for the Moroccan striker Sofiane Benjdida have stopped during the current period due to failure to reach an agreement on some clauses".
Sofiane Benjdida, the striker of Maghreb Fes team, is the top scorer of the Moroccan league, as he managed to score 15 goals and provide two decisive assists.
It is mentioned that Al-Ahly announced playing two friendly matches before the start of the new season, where they will face Cairo's Nasr and Laviina, on the 23rd and 30th of July respectively.
