Imam Ashour, the star midfielder of the Egyptian national team, scored a historic goal in Australia's net during the match between them, this Friday evening, in the 2026 World Cup tournament.

The Egypt vs Australia match is being held on the Dallas stadium pitch within the round of 32 competitions of the World Cup held in the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico.

Imam Ashour scored the first goal for the Egyptian national team, in the 13th minute, with a header to the right of the Australian goalkeeper, following a cross from the right side by Karim Hafez.

This goal is the second for player Imam Ashour with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup tournament.
