Juventus player Edon Zhegrova revealed the reason behind his refusal to leave the club last summer.

The Bosnian player told Sport Mediaset channel: "My decision to stay at Juventus? I love this club and want to achieve something great. When I signed for Juventus, I was extremely happy; I didn't want to leave in such a manner."
He added, "I wanted to stay at Juventus and achieve big things for the club. I am very happy to be at a big club like Juventus, with my teammates and the coach."
He concluded, "I will give my best for Juventus every time I play a match."
Zhegrova was close to leaving during the last summer transfer window and was excluded from the European squad participating in the Europa League.
Juventus signed the 27-year-old player in the summer of 2025 from Lille for €15 million.
Zhegrova has played 4 matches for Juventus this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in 72 minutes of playing time.
