Zamalek: We dealt with the law in the Zizou crisis

Zamalek Club expressed its satisfaction with the decision of the Players' Affairs Committee to archive the complaint filed by Ahmed Mostafa Zizo, the club's former player and current Al Ahly player, against the White Club.

The Players' Affairs Committee at the Football Association decided to archive Zizo's complaint against Zamalek, as well as the club's complaint against the player.

Zamalek stated in an official statement: "Zamalek Club received today, Wednesday, a letter from the Players' Affairs Committee at the Egyptian Football Association, announcing the archiving of the complaint filed against the club by Ahmed Mostafa 'Zizo', the former team player, in which he was demanding 82 million pounds without legal basis".

It added: "The decision to archive the complaint came to vindicate the White Citadel and confirm that Zamalek Club handled this file in accordance with the legal framework and through sound documents proving the validity of its position from the very first day, especially since the club submitted to the Players' Affairs Committee all papers and documents confirming that the player had received all his dues until his last day with the club, including the bonus for winning the Egypt Cup for the 2024-2025 season".

The statement noted: "Zamalek Club affirms, regarding its complaint in which it demanded its dues related to advertising revenues and television appearance rights for the player during his contract period with the club, that it will continue to take all necessary civil and criminal legal measures to ensure it receives its financial dues resulting from television appearances and advertising materials that the player filmed".

The statement concluded: "With the issuance of the Players' Affairs Committee's decision today, the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, headed by Captain Hussein Labib, extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Kamal Shoaib, the club's legal advisor, and all members of his office, as well as the club's Legal Department headed by Professor Mohamed Anani, Professor Sayed Mostafa, Director of the Legal Department, Professor Osama Abdullah, and Professor Tarek Abdel Moneim, the lawyers, for the efforts they exerted in managing this file professionally, which resulted in the decision being issued in the club's favor".
