Zamalek resumed its daily training session this evening, Sunday, on the secondary field of the Air Defense Stadium.
Zamalek had previously taken a break from training following their first match against Al Ittihad Alexandria.
The training session included a meeting between Motamed Gamal and the players, during which he discussed technical aspects to be implemented in the practice.
Players who participated in the match against Al Ittihad Alexandria underwent recovery exercises during the session to prevent fatigue.
Meanwhile, the technical staff assigned intense physical training for substitute players and those excluded from the Al Ittihad Alexandria match.
Nuno Costa, the fitness coach, supervised the physical segment, which began with running laps around the field, followed by some light ball drills.
The players then engaged in a technical segment focusing on specific tactical plays.
Zamalek had previously drawn 0-0 with Al Ittihad Alexandria in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek is now preparing to face National Bank of Egypt at Cairo Stadium in the second round of the league.
