The management of Al-Zamalek Club is preparing to disburse a new installment of the players' dues within the next few hours.
A source told Yalla Kora in an exclusive statement: "Al-Zamalek players inquired about the status of the overdue dues from last season and the current season."
The source clarified: "Al-Zamalek officials informed the players that a new installment of the dues would be disbursed in the coming hours."
The source added: "Al-Zamalek officials aim to disburse a significant portion of the dues, not a small one, especially since the disbursement rate in the last two installments did not exceed 5%."
The source concluded: "Al-Zamalek officials refused to disburse a small percentage, given the ongoing efforts to disburse a larger share, which has been communicated to the players."
Al-Zamalek Club is preparing to face AS Port, the champion of Djibouti, next Friday in the first leg of the preliminary round of the African Champions League.
