Maher Gharib, Director of Media at Zamalek Club, called on the Egyptian Football Association to hold accountable those responsible for misconduct during the team's match against Al-Ahly.
Al-Ahly achieved a decisive victory over Zamalek with six unanswered goals in their second-round match of the Women's Football League.
Maher Gharib stated on Al-Nahar Channel: "Our planning regarding women's football aimed for better performance than what we delivered in the first two matches, but certain circumstances led to this outcome; I believe the upcoming period will be better."
He added, "An incident occurred during the Zamalek-Al-Ahly match due to remarks made by one of the administrators that should not have been uttered in sports stadiums. However, this issue was resolved by Shady Mohamed and Hazem Imam. The Football Association must hold accountable whoever committed the error, whether from Al-Ahly or Zamalek."
The match was held at Zamalek Club.
This victory marks Al-Ahly's largest-ever win over Zamalek historically.
Zamalek has never previously defeated Al-Ahly.
Al-Ahly has beaten Zamalek in four matches, while drawing only once.
Al-Ahly's goals were scored by Nadine Ghazi (3), Awa Cassie (2), and Nour Youssef.
