A source within Zamalek Club confirmed that the White Castle's management is working to disburse a new installment of players' dues following a financial upturn related to an agreement with new sponsors.
The source stated in exclusive remarks to Yalla Kora: "We are working to provide an installment of overdue dues for the players from last season, to be paid out in the coming few days."
He added: "There is a financial upturn after reaching a final agreement with the new sponsors for the upcoming season."
He concluded: "Negotiations are underway to increase the number of sponsors and raise the financial compensation by a percentage exceeding 40% compared to previous seasons."
Zamalek Club had defeated their counterpart Al Ahly Bank yesterday evening, Wednesday, with a three-goal nil victory in the match held at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the second round fixtures of the Egyptian Premier League.
