Zamalek Club confirmed that it has not granted any approval to Brazilian winger Juan Bizera, a player for the first football team, to transfer to any other club, denying reports in recent hours about the possibility of the player traveling to the UAE to sign with one of the clubs there.
In a statement sent to journalists, Zamalek clarified that the club is unaware of the circulating news regarding Bizera’s travel to the UAE, emphasizing its adherence to its official stance toward the player since he stopped attending team training at the beginning of this month.
The White Club affirmed that there is no intention to compromise on its rights or to back down from demanding the player’s return to the team and his regular participation in training in the coming period.
Zamalek stressed its insistence on Bizera remaining with the team, especially since the Brazilian player’s contract extends for the next three seasons, confirming that his return to training is essential for the club.
In recent hours, news has circulated about the possibility of Bizera transferring to one of the UAE clubs, while Zamalek continues to affirm its stance against allowing the player to leave without consulting the club’s management.
Zamalek will kick off its title defense campaign in the Egyptian Premier League when it hosts Al-Ittihad Alexandria at 8:00 PM on Friday at Cairo International Stadium, in a match of the first round of the competition.
