Rwanda's Army Club issued an official statement denying any intention or desire to make new signings to strengthen the team, which competes locally and participates in continental competitions, specifically the CAF Champions League.
The denial came via the club's official website, which confirmed that Rwanda's Army management is not currently signing new players, but rather focusing on preparations for upcoming matches.
Rwanda's Army Club is Zamalek's opponent in the Round of 32 of the 2026-2027 edition of the CAF Champions League.
The Rwandan champions advanced to this round after overcoming Congo's Eagles with a 3-1 aggregate score over two legs.
