Zamalek's head coach, Gamal, officially announced his team's starting lineup against AS Port, the Djiboutian champions, in the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League season just moments ago.
Zamalek will face AS Port, the Djiboutian champions, in a match scheduled for 8:00 PM today, Friday, at Cairo International Stadium. This is the first leg of the preliminary round one of the CAF Champions League.
The match between Zamalek and AS Port will be officiated by a refereeing crew from Burkina Faso, led by Hamidou Diarro as the main referee, assisted by his compatriots Lamine Douvinet Adolf as the first assistant referee and Daouda Traoré as the second assistant referee, while Jean Ouattara will serve as the fourth official.

Zamalek's lineup featured Mohamed Sobhi as the starting goalkeeper, after resting both Mohamed Awad and Al-Mahdi Soliman, with rising goalkeeper Omar Abdel Aziz on the bench. Ahmed Khodary also started in the lineup.
