Zamalek's technical director, Moataz Gamal, announced the official lineup for today's Friday match against AS Port, the Djibouti champions, in the CAF Champions League.
Zamalek will face the Djibouti champions at 8:00 PM today, Friday, at Cairo International Stadium, in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The "White Knights" return to the CAF Champions League after a three-year absence.
Zamalek's lineup features three changes compared to their previous Premier League match against Suez Petrojet, with Mohamed Sobhi starting in goal instead of Mehdi Soliman.
Khedri will play as left-back following Bentayek's absence and to give Fatouh a rest.
Moataz Gamal also made an attacking change by benching Oday Dabbagh and bringing on Ahmed Abdel Rahim "Eisho".
Zamalek's lineup against Djibouti's AS Port is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed Sobhi.
Defense: Ahmed Khedri – Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh – Mohamed Ismail – Omar Gaber.
Midfield: Mohamed Shehata – Ahmed Rabie – Adam Kaied.
Attack: Chico Banza – Hossam Ashraf – Ahmed Abdel Rahim "Eisho".
The return leg between Zamalek and the Djibouti champions is scheduled for 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, also at Cairo International Stadium.
