Zamalek Club received, on Tuesday, its new land in the city of October Gardens.
The Ministry of Housing had allocated an alternative plot of land to Zamalek Club in order to establish the second branch of the White Castle instead of the one that was allocated to it in the Sixth of October City.
The October Gardens City Development Authority said via its official page on the social networking site "Facebook" that the site of Zamalek Club's land in October Gardens City was received today.
He added that the minutes of the land handover were signed between the October Gardens City Development Authority and representatives of Zamalek Club, in accordance with the applicable rules and procedures.
This comes in implementation of the vision of the Ministry of Housing aimed at providing the necessary components for the establishment of sports and service projects, and strengthening the role of sports clubs in serving the community.
Minister of Housing Randa Al-Manshawi had earlier affirmed the ministry's keenness to support national sports entities, foremost among them Zamalek Club, as one of the oldest sports clubs in Egypt and Africa.
