The first-team football players of Zamalek Club, including substitutes and those excluded from the recent match against Al-Ahly Bank, underwent an intense physical training session today, Friday, in preparation for their upcoming encounter with Petrojet in the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek is preparing to face Petrojet at 8:00 PM next Monday at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the third round of the Egyptian Premier League competition.
The training session took place on the auxiliary field at Air Defense Stadium, where the technical staff, led by Motamed Gamal, dedicated a physical segment for the players under the supervision of Portuguese fitness coach Nuno Costa Ribeiro.
The physical segment began with jogging around the field, followed by some light ball-based drills aimed at boosting fitness levels and preparing the players for the upcoming phase.
After concluding the physical segment, the players engaged in technical drills, during which the coaching staff focused on executing several tactical patterns in preparation for the next match.
