Hossam El-Zanati, the deputy sports director of the Danish club Nordsjælland, received an offer to assume the position of sports director for Zamalek Club.
Zamalek Club announced the departure of John Edward from the position of sports director, after he submitted his resignation.
Yalla Koura learned that Zamalek contacted Hossam El-Zanati to assume the position of sports director for the club.
Zamalek Club is currently seeking to contract with a new sports director.
El-Zanati has previously held several sports positions, serving as deputy director of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament organized by Egypt in the summer of 2019, before working as director of the competitions department for the (2019-2020) season, though El-Zanati recently decided to leave.
El-Zanati also assumed the position of sports director for El Gouna Club, before settling at Nordsjælland Club recently.
The first football team of Zamalek Club began its first training session this Saturday evening during its camp held in the New Administrative Capital, in preparation for the start of the new season's competitions.
