Via Yallakora

A source inside Zamalek Club denied what has been circulating in the past hours regarding Hussein Labib, the club's president, wanting to assume the presidency of the football company, confirming that these reports "have no connection to the truth".

The source explained in his statements to Yalla Koura that the president of Zamalek Club was the one with the greatest insistence on implementing the project of establishing the football company, with the aim of separating the management of the football sector from the club, in a way that ensures the application of a professional system in managing this file.

He added that the club president was also one of the most prominent supporters of the idea of appointing a sports director to fully manage the football file, which makes what is being circulated regarding his desire to assume the presidency of the football company or reduce the powers of the sports director illogical.

The source confirmed that the Zamalek board of directors is proceeding according to a clear vision for establishing the football company, and that what is being circulated in this regard is merely rumors that are not based on any facts.

The source concluded his statements by emphasizing that Zamalek Club will not stand silent in the face of such statements, and will deal with all firmness and seriousness with anyone who promotes rumors or false information that would cause confusion inside the club or among its fans.
