The first football team of Zamalek Club conducted its training this Wednesday evening on the club's stadium as part of its closed camp in the new capital, in preparation for the upcoming season.
Mo'tamed Jamal, the team's technical director, held a session with the players before the start of training, during which he explained some technical matters and gave the players special instructions to implement during today's training.
The technical staff was keen to reduce the physical load on the players during today's training before the friendly match against Orange scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, for fear of the players suffering from fatigue.
Portuguese coach Nuno Costa Ribeiro, the fitness trainer, supervised this segment, which included various physical exercises and a light ball segment.
After that, the technical staff divided the players into groups to undergo technical and tactical drills, and Mo'tamed Jamal and his assistant staff were keen to guide the players during this segment.
Zamalek concluded today's training with a small-scale technical division to implement what was trained in the tactical segment, as part of preparations for the upcoming matches.
Zamalek is preparing for the upcoming season to participate in many local and continental tournaments, as the team will participate in the Egyptian League, the Egypt Cup, the Egypt Capital Cup, in addition to the Egyptian Super Cup and the African Champions League.
