Zamalek's first football team concluded its training sessions this Sunday evening at the auxiliary field of the Air Defense Stadium, in preparation for their upcoming match against Suez Petroleum in the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek will host Suez Petroleum tomorrow Monday at 8:00 PM at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the third round matches of the Premier League competition.
Zamalek enters the Suez Petroleum match with 4 points, having drawn goallessly with Alexandria Union before defeating National Bank of Egypt 3-0 in the second round.
The technical staff, led by Moataz Gamal, focused on reducing the physical load during training to avoid player fatigue ahead of tomorrow's match. The team performed a physical session under the supervision of Portuguese fitness coach Nuno Costa Ribeiro.
During training, the technical staff emphasized implementing certain tactical and technical aspects. Players were divided into groups to perform various technical drills, while the coaching staff continuously provided guidance and corrected mistakes.
Zamalek concluded its training session with a small-sided tactical game that featured the application of practiced tactical phrases, in preparation for the upcoming match.
