Al-Zamalek Club submitted, today, two appeals to the Grievances Committee of the Egyptian Football Association, objecting to the decisions issued by the Players' Affairs Committee last week, regarding the crisis of its former player Ahmed Said "Zizo".
A source inside Zamalek said, in exclusive statements to Yalla Koura, that the first appeal relates to the complaint filed by the club against the player, after the Players' Affairs Committee decided to archive it.
The source explained that Zamalek asked the Grievances Committee to clarify the reasons for the archiving decision, confirming that it had previously submitted all the documents it believes support the validity of its position.
The source added that the second appeal concerns the failure to issue a decision obligating Zizo to pay 20% of the proceeds from advertisements and media appearances, which is the percentage that the club demands according to its contract with the player.
He pointed out that Zamalek had previously sent to the Players' Affairs Committee all the advertisements in which Zizo appeared, as documents supporting its demands in the case.
