The Players' Affairs Committee affiliated with the Egyptian Football Association has issued its final decision regarding the complaint of Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Al-Ahly Club player, against his former team, Zamalek, according to what was revealed by Al-Faris Al-Abyad.
Zamalek Club clarified in its official statement that it received a letter from the Egyptian Football Association stating that Ahmed Sayed Zizo's complaint against the White Castle has been archived, following the Players' Affairs Committee's review of the complaint and the documents submitted by both parties.
Grounds of the Players' Affairs Committee's ruling
A source within the Egyptian Football Association revealed via "Yalla Koura" that the Players' Affairs Committee determined Zamalek Club holds rights against Ahmed Sayed Zizo for advertisements and certain penalties imposed on him for unauthorized absences from training.
The same source explained that the Players' Affairs Committee also found Zizo holds rights against Zamalek, which led the player to demand 82 million and 500 thousand Egyptian pounds.
However, the aforementioned committee deemed the amount requested by Zizo exaggerated, especially since the player provided no proof of entitlement to it.
Upon calculating the claims of both Zamalek and Zizo, the Players' Affairs Committee of the Football Association found the amounts owed by each party to be equal, and therefore decided to archive the complaints submitted by both sides.
