The Algerian winger Abdelrahim Daghmoum, Al Masry Port Said player, has been linked with a transfer to Al Ahly in the current summer transfer window, as part of preparations for the new season.

The 27-year-old has not objected to moving to Al Ahly this summer, and Al Masry Port Said club management has given the green light for the player's departure.

A source revealed, in exclusive statements to "Yalla Koura", that Abdelrahim Daghmoum's deal to Al Ahly has not collapsed, as was rumored recently.

The source added - who preferred not to be named - that the list of foreign players at Al Ahly, alongside the future of Tunisian professional Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, will decide the position on Daghmoum's deal.

Ben Romdhane had been linked with a move to Qatari side Al Shamal this summer, with negotiations ongoing between the two clubs' managements to discuss completing the deal.

Daghmoum has played for Al Masry since 2022, after transferring from Algerian side ES Sétif, with his contract with the Port Said club set to expire in summer 2027.

Daghmoum has played 110 matches for Al Masry across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists, contributing to the team winning the League Cup title in the latest edition.
