Turkish press reports revealed, in the past hours, attempts by the Turkish club Trabzonspor to sign Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egyptian national team, during the current summer transfer window.
Salah had officially departed Liverpool at the end of last season, linking the Egyptian national team captain with numerous clubs, both Arab and European.

The Turkish club failed to reach a financial agreement with Rami Abbas, Mohamed Salah’s agent, so negotiations ended without any official agreement between the two parties.

Trabzonspor is among the most prominent clubs seeking to sign Salah at present, with negotiations being conducted secretly between the Turkish club and Rami Abbas, according to what “Yalla Koura” learned.
Turkish press reports had revealed, in the past hours, that the Trabzonspor administration submitted an offer worth 17 million euros for two seasons.
In response, Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan raised doubts about signing Mohamed Salah, stating in remarks to the Turkish channel “A Spor”: “There are no arrangements regarding Salah’s travel to Trabzon tomorrow.”
The Trabzon president added: “Who among us would not want to sign a player of Mohamed Salah’s caliber? Of course we wish for that, but the truth is there is no agreement at all.”
It is worth noting that Trabzon finished last season in third place with 69 points, behind champions Galatasaray and runners-up Fenerbahçe.
