Mohamed Abdelmonem, the defender of the French club Nice, has not yet decided his future in the new season.
Nice club has opened the door for Mohamed Abdelmonem to leave, in case he receives a suitable offer during the summer transfer period.
A source close to Mohamed Abdelmonem said in exclusive statements to Yalla Koura: "Mohamed Abdelmonem has not yet decided his destination in the new season".
He added: "There is constant communication from Al Ahly with Mohamed Abdelmonem, regarding the possibility of loaning him or buying him permanently from Nice".
The source clarified in his statements: "Mohamed Abdelmonem is still considering the offer and has not made a decision".
He concluded: "Al Ahly's offer is the only Egyptian one for Mohamed Abdelmonem so far".
Mohamed Abdelmonem was absent from participating with Nice in the past season, as he was suffering from a cruciate ligament tear injury.
Mohamed Abdelmonem joined Nice club at the beginning of the 2024 season, coming from Al Ahly club, with a contract for 4 seasons.
In total, the 27-year-old participated in 18 matches with Nice in all tournaments and competitions, but he did not score or assist.
Mohamed Abdelmonem participated in two matches with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
