Zamalek continues to keep the list of the team participating in the preparation camp before the start of the new 2026-2027 season secret, which is currently being held in the New Administrative Capital.
Moataz Jamal, who led Zamalek to win the league title last season, is in charge of the title defense campaign in the new season after the club's board decided to renew confidence in him, and all elements of the technical, medical and administrative staff have been announced.
Zamalek has not announced at all the list of the team present at the preparation camp before the transfer window closes on August 15, amid a decision to suspend registration issued against the club by FIFA.
Zamalek published photos from the preparation camp yesterday, Sunday, for the first time ever after preparations began at the beginning of August.
Absence of 3 players from the camp
Absent from the preparation camp since the first day were Abdullah El-Said, Chico Banza, and Juan Bezerra.
Zamalek only clarified Juan Bezerra's situation after the player announced his desire to leave and demanded approval of the offer submitted to him, prompting the club to issue a statement confirming its rejection of the offer and asking him to return to Cairo and join the camp.
As for El-Said and Banza, there is no official clarification from the club regarding their situation.
Exclusion of 5 players
Zamalek notified Ayman Amir Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Magdy, and Abdel Rahman Kamal not to be with the first team during the new season, after being granted one day of rest last Friday.
After that, the club also informed Ahmed Mahmoud, who returned from loan at Ittihad Alexandria, of his exit from the camp and that he would not continue with the team.
28 players at Zamalek's camp
