A source at Al-Zamalek club clarified the rotation policy currently being implemented in the first team's goalkeeper position, amid strong competition among the trio of Mohamed Ewada, El-Mehdy Sulaiman, and Mohamed Sobhi.
Mohamed Sobhi was in goal for Al-Zamalek, while Omar Abdel Aziz was on the bench, and the duo of El-Mehdy Sulaiman and Mohamed Ewada were left out of yesterday's match list against AS Port of Djibouti.
The rotation policy in Al-Zamalek's goalkeeper position
A source inside Al-Zamalek club confirmed via "Yalla Kora" that the team's technical staff has decided to implement a rotation policy in the goalkeeper position for the time being.
The same source indicated that El-Mehdy Sulaiman will return to Al-Zamalek's goal starting from the next match against Abu Qir Fertilizers in the league, with Mohamed Ewada on the bench, while Mohamed Sobhi will be excluded from the squad.
The source mentioned that Mohamed Ewada will play the second leg against AS Port of Djibouti in the African Champions League, with Omar Abdel Aziz as the backup, while El-Mehdy Sulaiman and Mohamed Sobhi will be excluded.
The source said via "Yalla Kora": "El-Mehdy Sulaiman will return to Al-Zamalek's goal in the match against Abu Qir Fertilizers, with Mohamed Ewada on the bench, and Mohamed Sobhi excluded."
