Tawfiq Mohamed, the left-back for Petrojet Suez team, is on the verge of joining the ranks of Al-Ahly Club during the summer transfer window, as he undergoes a medical examination ahead of the official photo session and contract signing.
A source close to the player said in exclusive statements to Yalla Koura: "Tawfiq Mohamed is currently undergoing the medical examination at one of the Greater Cairo hospitals in preparation for joining Al-Ahly".
He continued: "All contractual agreements have been completed between the two clubs, and the player is only waiting for the medical examination before the official announcement of the deal".
He added: "The player will sign his contracts with the Red Castle tomorrow morning, as he will be present at the club's headquarters before the official announcement of the deal".
Al-Ahly moved quickly to conclude the deal yesterday, Thursday, to compensate for the absence of its Moroccan star Youssef Belamri following his cruciate ligament tear.
