Al-Ahly Club has not yet reached an agreement with the duo Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim regarding the renewal of their contracts.
The club offered both Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim 25 million per season, plus an additional 10 million in variable bonuses.
A source told FilGoal: "Mohamed Hany is still requesting exemption from the participation percentage clause and the application of the old regulation, which stipulates canceling the participation percentage for players who have surpassed 300 official matches with the team."
"As for Yasser Ibrahim, he has specific demands related to advertising rights, as he is not as commercially sought-after as Imam Ashour or Mohamed Hany, in addition to requesting a signing bonus to compensate for the offer he received from Al-Shabab Saudi Club."
The source concluded: "Al-Ahly rejected the demands of both Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim and informed them accordingly."
Mohamed Hany has played 406 matches for Al-Ahly, making him the player with the most appearances in the club's history.
Meanwhile, Yasser Ibrahim received a financially substantial offer from Saudi club Al-Shabab, but it was rejected.
The contracts of both Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany expire at the end of the current season, allowing them to sign with any club starting next January.
Notably, Yasser Ibrahim scored Al-Ahly's winning goal against Smouha last Thursday in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Ahly successfully renewed the contracts of five players: Imam Ashour, Mostafa Shobeir, Marwan Attia, Omar Sayed Moawad, and Taher Mohamed Taher.
