A source within the Egyptian national team revealed the outlines of the squad for next month's September camp, which is scheduled to be announced on the 16th of the current month.
The source confirmed in statements to Yalla Kora that the national team's squad will include approximately 26 players so far, who have been provisionally agreed upon by the team's technical staff led by Hossam Hassan. Hossam Hassan is expected to finalize all the names in the coming days.
The source added that the national team's squad will feature some new faces, noting that changes may occur to the names depending on the remaining league matches.
The source concluded their statements by confirming that there is a comparison between several names, such as Al-Ahly's Amr El-Gazar, and Zamalek's duo Mahmoud Hamdy Wons and Hossam Ashraf, pointing out that the final decision will be made after the last round.
The Egyptian national team will enter a closed camp starting from September 21st next, where they will face Angola and South Sudan on the 25th and 29th of the same month, respectively, in addition to playing a friendly match against South Africa on October 4th.
