Moroccan press reports revealed the recent moves by Ibrahim Al-Asri, president of the Moroccan Wydad club, to support the team in the current summer transfer period, before the start of the new season.

The Moroccan newspaper Al-Muntakhab confirmed that the president of Wydad continues his moves on more than one front, in his quest to rearrange the red team's affairs and strengthen the team's ranks, in conjunction with working to adjust the club's financial balance.

The newspaper indicated that the president of Wydad puts the name of defender Ashraf Dari, player of Al-Ahly club, among the names he wishes to restore to the club, as the president of Wydad bets on the player's desire to return to the team in whose ranks he progressed and excelled.

The administration's moves are not limited to the transfer market, as the financial aspect emerges as one of the main files on the new president's table, especially in light of the multiple financial obligations of the Casablanca team.

According to the newspaper, the coming days are expected to witness new developments in the Dari file, along with other files related to the future of a number of Wydad players, at a time when the administration continues its efforts to develop all the team's files.

Previous reports had indicated that Dari has become close to returning to the ranks of Wydad, as the player is heading towards terminating his contract with Al-Ahly, in preparation for leaving the club for free, in the current summer.

The Moroccan player was not included in the list summoned by Hussein Ammouta, the new technical director of Al-Ahly club, in the Spain camp through which the team is preparing for the next season, which opens the door to departure for the player who wants to obtain his full dues.
