Moroccan national team striker Sofiane Rahimi believes in his team's ability to reach the 2026 World Cup final.
The Moroccan national team qualified for the round of 8 in the 2026 World Cup after defeating Canada 3-0 in the round of 16.
Rahimi said in statements published by the Moroccan website Al-Botola: "What we have achieved so far is just the beginning".
He added, "It is a great joy for us and for the Moroccan people, and for me it is a special joy as well, because merely being on the national team roster and participating in the World Cup was a dream that has haunted me since childhood".
He continued, "We do not only dream, but we work and strive. This group possesses the capabilities that make it able to reach the World Cup final, and why not compete for the title. We hope the fans will continue to trust us, because their support pushes us to advance further".
