Lamine Yamal, Spain's star, trusts in his country's national team's ability to overcome the obstacle of France in the World Cup semi-final.
Spain qualified to face France in the semi-final after a tough win over Belgium in the quarter-finals.
Lamine Yamal said via beIN Sports: "Qualifying for the semi-final came after a match that was very complicated for us. We are happy with the qualification, and I feel that I am in good shape".
He added, "Some wonder why I don't score much, but for me the most important thing is achieving victory and qualification".
He continued, "I spoke with my mother after the match, and she said she is very happy. My little brother was also very happy, these wonderful things make me happy".
He concluded his statements, "Facing France? We are not afraid of France, and perhaps they should be afraid of us, we have eliminated them before on two occasions in the semi-final of the European Championship as well as the Nations League".
The Spanish national team snatched the qualification ticket to the 2026 World Cup semi-final by defeating Belgium 2-1.
Fabian Ruiz and Mikel Merino scored Spain's brace, while Charles De Ketelaere scored Belgium's goal.
The Spanish national team qualified to face France in the semi-final on Tuesday, July 14 at 10 pm.
