Christian Pulisic, the US national team player, suffered a strong injury during the end of his team's journey in the 2026 World Cup.

The American international was injured during his team's match against Belgium in the round of 16.
He was unable to complete the match, and the Italian Milan player left the field in the 59th minute.
According to a statement from the US Federation, Pulisic suffered a bone bruise and a microfracture in his right leg.

The player had previously stated after the match, saying at the time: "My ankle and knee twisted completely in one play."
Some reports indicated that the injury threatens the player's participation in the preparatory period for the new season with Milan.
Milan is preparing to face Torino in the first round of the new season of the Italian league on August 23.
Pulisic had previously been injured during the Paraguay match in the knee in the group stage and missed the Australia match because of it, then participated as a substitute against Turkey.
The 27-year-old was content with creating a goal in America's journey in the 2026 World Cup when its journey stopped against Belgium in the round of 16.
