Al-Ahly's two goals were scored by Aqtay Abdullah and Sofiane Benjdida in a match played at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium, located at Al-Ahly Club's headquarters in Gezira.
This friendly comes less than 24 hours after coach Hussein Ammouta's squad secured a 2-0 victory over ZED in Round 2 of the Egyptian Premier League.
The match featured Imam Ashour and the Moroccan duo Ashraf Dari and Reda Slim, in addition to the substitutes who participated in yesterday's Friday match against ZED.
Al-Ahly is now preparing for their upcoming match against Smouha next Thursday in Round 3 of the Egyptian Premier League.
The league authorities decided to schedule the match for Thursday, September 3rd, at Cairo International Stadium at 8:00 PM, due to the inability to hold any matches at Cairo Stadium on September 1st and 2nd.
