Zamalek fans stole the spotlight at the start of the new 2026-2027 Egyptian Premier League season in the match against Al Ittihad Alexandria.
Cairo International Stadium hosted the Zamalek vs. Al Ittihad Alexandria match in the opening round of the Premier League.
Before the match, the White Knights' fans presented a tifo depicting the plane that carried the league trophy last season.
Zamalek players, led by Omar Gaber, also made sure to gift two team jerseys bearing the number "1" to the White Castle fans.
The Zamalek players approached the fans present at Cairo International Stadium before warm-ups began and gifted them the two jerseys with the number "1," after the club had previously retired this number in appreciation of the fans' role and support for the team during last season.
