Englishman Marcus Rashford confirmed his departure from Barcelona's ranks after the end of his loan spell with the Catalan club, in a farewell message he posted on his Instagram account.
Rashford joined Barcelona last summer on a one-season loan from Manchester United, with his loan deal including an option to buy for 30 million euros.
Doubts have emerged over Barcelona activating the option to buy the English player, amid the Catalan club's financial crisis, as well as signing his compatriot Anthony Gordon this summer.
Rashford wrote on Instagram: "I am extremely grateful to everyone at the club for making my time here a positive and unforgettable experience. I enjoyed every moment and will take many special memories with me."
The English winger added in his message: "I wish the club and all its fans the very best of luck and every success in the next season."
The player had a successful season with Barcelona, contributing to the team's double of the Spanish league and the local Super Cup.
