The Spanish newspaper AS reported that Brazilian player Vinicius Junior enjoyed the longest rest period among Real Madrid players, having been granted a 4-week vacation.
The newspaper indicated that the club's decision to grant Vinicius this long vacation was due to him playing the most minutes compared to any other player in the team.
According to the same source, Vinicius participated in 4249 minutes out of 5040 possible minutes (i.e., 84%), and played in 53 matches out of 56, starting 48 of them as a starter.
The Brazilian winger returned to Real Madrid training today, Monday, under the leadership of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.
Real Madrid is preparing for its friendly match against Ferencváros, which will be held in Budapest next Saturday.
