Spain secured a resounding 3-1 victory over the Czech Republic in their match this Saturday evening at Carlos Tartiere Stadium in Oviedo, as part of Matchday 3 of the UEFA Nations League.

Lamine Yamal opened the scoring for Spain in the 5th minute. After receiving the ball on the edge of the penalty area, he dribbled past a defender before unleashing a superb left-footed shot into the far post, which goalkeeper Kovář failed to save. The Barcelona winger continued his habit of scoring early, having netted Spain's opening goal in three consecutive matches.

Rodri added the second goal before the half-hour mark. Pedri drove into the penalty area, and after the Czech defense attempted to clear the ball, it fell to the midfielder, who struck a powerful and precise shot into the net, giving Spain a comfortable lead before halftime.

At the start of the second half, Luis de la Fuente made several substitutions, resting Lamine Yamal and Álex Baena while bringing on Víctor Muñoz and Yeremy Pino. Mikel Merino and Fermín López then replaced Pedri and Dani Olmo, in an attempt to maintain the team's rhythm and give new players a chance to participate.

The Czech national team managed to narrow the gap around the 70th minute when Jiří Sláma exploited space inside the penalty area and fired a well-placed low shot into the far corner, beating David Raya and bringing the match back into contention.

The hosts nearly equalized when Ryan Naderi capitalized on a mistake by David Raya and slotted the ball into the net, but the referee disallowed the goal due to a foul against Robin Le Normand, leaving Spain still ahead.

The Czech team suffered another blow near the end of the match when Ladislav Krejčí received his second yellow card and was sent off for fouling a Spanish attack. Shortly after, Mikel Merino sealed the contest with the third goal in almost the final minute, capitalizing on a rebound from goalkeeper Kovář following Víctor Muñoz's attempt, placing the ball in the net to confirm "La Roja's" 3-1 victory.

With this win, Spain maintained its perfect start in the UEFA Nations League, securing its third consecutive victory following wins against England and Croatia, while the Czech Republic remained without points in the group.
