Zamalek Club will play several important matches before the expected international break next month in September, as the White Knights are set to return to compete in their favorite tournament, the African Champions League.
Zamalek has been absent from the African Champions League for years, and is expected to compete in the first preliminary round next month in September by facing AS Port, the champion of Djibouti.
Zamalek managed to reach an agreement with the team to play both matches in Cairo, where the Whites are expected to host their Arab counterpart in the Egyptian capital next month.
In addition to the two preliminary round matches of the African Champions League, Zamalek will continue its local league campaign, hoping to retain the title it won last season.
