Zamalek players are awaiting the determination of the start date for the team's collective training sessions and the preparation camp for the new season, which is now close to beginning, yet the matter remains unknown amid uncertainty over the new coach for the Whites.
The football administration, for its part, has settled on disbursing the players' dues first, and then determining the start date of training, with a strong inclination toward holding the team's camp in the UAE before the start of the new season.
A coach knocking on the door
Zamalek Club has settled on appointing a foreign coach to lead the team in the new season, succeeding Moataz Jamal, who succeeded in guiding the White Knight to win the Egyptian Premier League title and reach the final of the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek reached an agreement with the Serbian Vuk Rašović to coach the team in the new season, but matters have not been finalized as the coach has not yet signed the contracts.
The coach assuming the technical duties brings the Zamalek team closer to resuming collective training, as the Whites' camp has not yet begun due to the absence of the technical staff, which is scheduled to set its plan for the upcoming season.
Zamalek's financial resources
Zamalek Club received a check worth 100 million pounds from the real estate developer upon the official signing of the contracts, which helped resolve part of the financial crises.
Zamalek awaits receiving the transfer value of Hossam Abdel Majeed to his Bulgarian club Ludogorets, which will boost the Whites' financial coffers.
Zamalek's moves to obtain the license
Zamalek has finished settling the dues of most cases and complaints at the International Federation of Football Associations "FIFA", with the remaining case being that of the Senegalese Ibrahima Ndiaye and the Ukrainian club Oleksandriya.
