The "Fan Zone" area in the New Administrative Capital and the Sahel Youth Center in Cairo Governorate witnessed, Tuesday evening, a dense public turnout from citizens to follow the Egypt national team match against its Argentine counterpart, within the round of 16 competitions of the 2026 World Cup.

More than 40 thousand fans gathered in the "Fan Zone" area to watch the match on a screen reaching 3 thousand inches in size.

The EFZ area or "Egyptian Fan Zone" is considered one of the largest fan areas in the region, as it hosts the largest display screen in the world.

The Sahel Youth Center in Shubra also witnessed the presence of Jawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, who was keen to follow the Egypt and Argentina match in the World Cup via a giant screen.

The "Fan Zone" area in the New Administrative Capital and the Sahel Youth Center witnessed great celebratory atmospheres from the fans who gathered to watch the match after the Egypt national team advanced with two goals without reply against title-holder Argentina.

Happiness turned to shock on the faces of the attendees after the Argentine national team turned its two-goal deficit into a 3-2 victory over its Egyptian counterpart.
