One of the attendees at the press conference directed a question to Hossam Hassan, coach of the Egyptian national team, following the conclusion of the Pharaohs' match against Argentina, which ended with the latter winning by a single goal margin.

Egypt's national team bid farewell to the World Cup competitions after losing to Argentina by a score of (3-2) in the match held as part of the round of 16 of the World Cup, played on the pitch of Atlanta Stadium.

Was the Egyptian national team wronged because of Palestine?

Hossam Hassan, coach of the Egyptian national team, answered one of the questions posed to him during the press conference, related to punishing the Pharaohs after their supportive stance on the Palestinian cause.

Hossam Hassan said: "I don't want to talk like this; we are talking about a humanitarian issue. Is there anyone who feels for those who lost their sight or had their hand amputated?"

He added: "We want football to contribute to spreading humanity, in the country where children die, those wearing the jerseys of Argentina, Barcelona, Manchester City, and Real Madrid."

He concluded: "The Palestinian people love football, but they are being killed while you remain silent as usual."
