Zuhair Dari, father of Ashraf Dari, the Al-Ahly Club defender, confirmed that his son has not discussed any offers for his departure, noting that he wants the remaining value of his contract if it is terminated.
Ashraf Dari has returned to Al-Ahly Club after the end of his loan spell with Swedish club Kalmar.
Zuhair Dari said in exclusive statements to Yallakora: "Al-Ahly has not informed Ashraf Dari of anything regarding his departure from the team."
"Ashraf Dari's contract remains valid with Al-Ahly, and we respect our agreement with the club."
"So far, Ashraf Dari has not discussed any offers for his departure from Al-Ahly."
"If Al-Ahly wants to terminate Ashraf Dari's contract, it must pay the full remaining value of the contract."
Al-Ahly Club wants to offload Ashraf Dari during the current summer transfer window, as he is not needed for the next season.
Al-Ahly had previously signed Dari in the summer of 2024 for 1.8 million euros from French club Stade Brest, but he suffered from recurring injuries, some of which took a long time to recover from.
Ashraf Dari only featured in 26 matches with the Red Giants, winning two Egyptian League titles, one CAF Champions League title, and the CAF-AFC-Pacific Champions Cup as part of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, and he participated in the 2025 Club World Cup.
