Walid Daabas, president of Modern Club, spoke about the club merger file in the Egyptian Premier League.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports had previously announced the merger of Enppi Club with Sharqiya and Petrojet with Montakhab Al-Suez.

Walid Daabas said in statements via "Modern MTA" channel: "So far we have not seen a solution to the Ismaily crisis, despite opening the club merger file".
He added: "I heard talks about merging Ismaily and Al-Qanah, we hope that happens".
He continued: "If the administration had succeeded, the popular clubs would have remained in the Premier League".
He went on: "The separate football company consists of businessmen who put in a sum of money as an investment inside the club and not a gift".
It is worth noting that Ismaily had been relegated to the second division after occupying the last place in the relegation group standings in the previous season.
