Wael Gomaa, the director of football at Al-Ahly Club, believes that Hussein Amouta is one of the best coaches in the Middle East.

Al-Ahly announced the appointment of Amouta as technical director of the team starting from next season.
Al-Ahly held a press conference to introduce Wael Gomaa as director of football and Amouta as technical director.
Gomaa said during the press conference: "I am happy to return to my home, Al-Ahly Club, the place where I lived the most happy moments, and the place that has a great favor upon me, and no matter how much I speak, I will not give it its due".
He continued, "Al-Ahly deserves that I sacrifice a lot for it, and I want to thank the officials for their insistence on my presence at the club at this time to repay the favor to the club, as well as thank the officials at beIN Sports channel for allowing me to respond to Al-Ahly's call".
He added, "Amouta is one of the best coaches in the Middle East and possesses great capabilities and has proven his presence and personality in all the places he has worked. I dealt with him on a personal level and he is worthy of Al-Ahly Club
He continued, "We are happy with the presence of Amouta, and God willing, Al-Ahly will add a lot to him and he will add a lot to the club, and I wish him success and prosperity".
He added, "Hussein Amouta is still in the stage of getting to know the players, the internationals are still with the Egyptian national team and we hope they reach the farthest point, and this gives us the opportunity to settle on the elements that will join the club".
He concluded, "Al-Ahly club's training camp is currently being arranged to settle on its location, and it will most likely be held at the end of the month, and we will announce the final details soon".
Al-Ahly's preparation period for the next season begins this evening under the leadership of Hussein Amouta.
